2. The Melting of the Prisons of Ice

While in our world much talk is made of the melting of the polar ice caps, in this parallel world this desecration has rippled out into the other world causing the melting of the great ice prisons of Norderakk and Kalnerakk wherein have long been imprisoned the great ones of old, Thakragg and Krakor.

"... great wheels were set in motion for the melting of the bonds of ice in which they were contained, and they've been melting from those days long ago even to the present. The melting of the polar ice caps in our world was orchestrated from another. At the instance of Thakragg and Krakor, even while they dwelt in their frozen bonds of deep ice, what powers they had remaining sufficed to influence the minds of men in our world so that their icy prisons may one day loosen their formidable grip thus allowing them to go free once more into the world.
