In an ancient time when the Twelve first came to their new world after their home world of Kellethon had been destroyed, their arrival set out shockwaves across the planet that rippled around the entire face of the world from one end to its other end, and these gargantuan energy swells mingled with something of the real and hidden nature of the Twelve that lies hidden from the view of men, and there came into being creatures of immense power, and just as the Twelve's true nature lies hidden, so the nature of these new forms of life was also hidden from the view of mortal eyes.
Men see very little of what really is, but only that part which satisfies necessity and a little beyond that too. And so roaming the world in that ancient time, beings invisible as the wind, with bodies akin to light and wind, wandered the world. The world as it was then would have been described as desolate by men (had there been any at that time), but to these new creatures that sailed on the high winds, that ancient world was far from desolate.

| They saw worlds of wonder even in the rocks |
Possessing abilities of sight unthinkable from the standpoint of men, they could see into bare rock and see it as a world of wonder, possessing the ability to see its component parts, and doing so with such potency that they could see a universe of wonder in each and every stone. And when they were in mind for new sensations, it is said that they could dwell within those rocks and stones and to them it would be as if they were in a new and wonderful world in the case of each one, for to them even the simplest stone was as a network of celestial bodies comprising an entire universe. They balk at stories related by men in a future age that the planet was desolate and empty, for to them, it never was.
| They learnt to take on the mantle of flesh |
Endless wonder lay everywhere in their world. And not bound by the constraints of lifeforms that would come into to existence later who would be constrained by their own material form, they could sail high in the skies of that ancient world and even up to the residing place of the moon and stars. Even so, they would always return to that place from which they came, because this was the place where an even greater wonder than that to be found beyond the skies was found—namely the Theleia Stone, otherwise known as The Star Stone.
The Theleia Stone contains a universe wider and deeper than the one both we inhabit, and although it is contained in what appears to be a gem stone of inestimable beauty and magnificence, so small it might be held in the palm of one's hand, the universe that lies within it is not restricted by the laws of space as we understand them. And so, the universe within the Theleia Stone is greater than ours and has power beyond imagining.
Thakragg and Krakor, as they are called now, were amongst those mighty unseen life forms of which we speak. After their fall into corruption, their ability to take on material form was taken from them.
